About the Role
We are looking for a caring, reliable, and compassionate Support Worker to assist individuals with their daily living activities and promote their independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care in accordance with agreed care plans, company policies, and current legislation.
- Deliver person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion.
- Support service users to maintain daily living skills, hobbies, interests, and social activities.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and medication support where required.
- Encourage and support service users to achieve the best possible quality of life.
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation in line with company policies.
- Report any concerns or changes in a service user's health or wellbeing to the Senior Carer, Care Coordinator, or Registered Manager.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of all individuals receiving support.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns immediately.
- Work independently within service users' homes while maintaining professional standards.
- Participate in mandatory training, supervision, and professional development.
- Support new employees through induction and orientation where appropriate.

- Good written and verbal English skills.

- Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to respond calmly and appropriately to changing situations.
- Commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults.
- Willingness to undertake mandatory training.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis.
Desirable Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Previous experience supporting adults with:
- Dementia
- Learning disabilities
- Physical disabilities
- Mental health needs
- Complex care needs
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential
