Job Description – Workplace Pensions/Employee Benefits Administrator
· Day-to-day administration and delivery of services for allocated workplace pension clients, including contribution processing, auto-enrolment compliance and query resolution, in line with internal processes and regulatory requirements
· Manage personal workflow to meet SLAs, maintain accurate systems and records, and produce consistently high-quality work in line with the FCA and The Pensions Regulator requirements.

· Contribute to continuous improvement and team development through mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and building strong technical pensions expertise (including relevant qualifications where agreed).
· Supporting Consultants, Managers and the Company Director.
· Assist with email traffic to the Workplace Pension mailbox.
· Liaise with 3rd party providers and check payroll pension reports against internal records to ensure there are no discrepancies in data.
· Process monthly pension payments on provider websites.
· Assist with the preparation of statutory pension communications in a timely manner.
· Update Pension & client records.
· Preparing files and appropriate documentation on receipt of new hire information from a client.
· Processing and submitting competed forms to insurers.
· Maintaining appropriate logs to track new hires and to ensure all information is kept up to date.
· Processing changes such as leavers, amendments to dates of birth, salaries, home addresses, changes of name, the addition or removal of family members
· Updating logs or any database with appropriate information.
· Keeping client information up to date as possible.
· Making telephone calls to clients and product providers.
· Liaising with clients where appropriate via written correspondence and email.
· Liaising with product providers to obtain quotations or policy information, including market analysis/reviews in respect of new and existing Workplace Pension Plans.
· Submission of completed documentation to product providers.
· Answering queries - internal and external.
· Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
· Taking responsibility for management of client files i.e. ongoing filing, diary notes chasing and reviewing
What we’re looking for
Experience of workplace pension schemes (contribution processing, governance and market reviews), with detailed knowledge of auto-enrolment is preferred.
An excellent communicator with strong organisational and IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook), with the ability to prioritise workloads, deliver accurate work to deadlines.
A positive, adaptable team player who is committed to learning and development, actively contributes to team meetings, and supports the Team Manager in communicating change and new initiatives.
Knowledge of core Group Risk products (Group Life Assurance, Group Income Protection, Group Critical Illness), with a good grasp of the wider Healthcare and Employee Benefits market.
A solid understanding of FCA compliance and regulatory requirements.
Relevant pension qualifications are desirable but not essential for this role.
Database administration experience.
Desired Skills:
Previous exposure to an Employee Benefits environment
Experience with benefits software and platforms
Financial services qualifications preferred, but not essential

Additional Information:

Pay: £21,157.00-£35,000.00 per year
