HJ Lea Oakes Ltd are suppliers of top-quality animal and livestock feeds, serving farmers across a wide area in Cheshire, Lancashire, Staffordshire, Shropshire and North Wales. We are currently looking for 3 full-time Bulk Blower Driversto join our team in delivering outstanding customer service.
Job Description and Profile
This role involves farm deliveries, loading & unloading vehicle (bulk blowing), handling delivery paperwork. It is a customer facing role that requires good communication skills.
Requirements
· Prior HGV driving experience is essential
· Bulk blower experience is essential
· Class 2 driving licence
· Digital Tacho Card
· Up to date CPC training
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Loading animal feed onto the vehicles
· Delivering orders to the customer’s farms and unloading at the destination (bulk blowing)
· Handling delivery paperwork
· Liaising with customers, farm workers, mill production staff and transport department
Skills and Specifications:
· Good communication skills, good command of spoken and written English
· Good numeracy and literacy
· The successful candidate will be energetic, friendly and well presented
· Interest in helping and working with customers
Terms:
· Full time position, normally working 12-hour standard days on a 4 on 4 off shift rotation. This shift pattern includes working between Monday and Sunday. Shift premium for each scheduled day worked.
· Extra days overtime available and payable at overtime rates (1.5x or 2x depending on day of the week)
