Temporary Fabric Library Digitisation Assistant – Camden (1 Week Project)
I’m looking for an organised and reliable person to help digitise a physical fabric library at my office in Camden.
The job involves:
- Taking clear photographs of fabric samples
- Labelling and organising images
- Creating a simple digital catalogue (Google Sheets/Excel)
- Recording fabric details such as colour, material, supplier and notes
- Helping organise the physical fabric collection
Ideal person:
- Organised and detail-focused
- Comfortable using a smartphone camera and spreadsheets
- Patient with repetitive cataloguing work
- An interest in fashion, textiles, interiors, design or photography is a bonus (but not essential)
Location: Camden, London
Duration: Approximately 4 working days (around 30 hours total)
Pay: £13–£15 per hour depending on experience
Start date: Flexible / ASAP
This would suit a fashion, textiles, art, design or photography student, or someone looking for a short-term admin project.
