We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Labourer to join our team. Duties
- Assisting with landscape maintenance, including planting, pruning, and turf care
- Operating hand tools such as spades, rakes, and shovels to support site preparation and ongoing maintenance
- Using power tools safely for tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling structures
- Supporting excavation activities using equipment like excavators under supervision
- Installing and maintaining irrigation systems across different sites
- Performing general site clearance and waste removal to ensure a safe working environment
- Assisting with construction tasks including material handling, site organisation, and basic assembly work
- Conducting routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Supporting horticultural activities related to gardening and plant care
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is key
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and hand tools is advantageous
- Ability to operate or learn to operate machinery such as excavators is preferred
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems and general maintenance practices
- Physical fitness to undertake manual labour tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Strong organisational skills with attention to safety procedures on-site
- Reliable with a proactive attitude towards teamwork and task completion
- Previous experience in construction or gardening roles will be considered an asset
