The Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our chefs and ensuring our kitchen operates efficiently. From preparing ingredients to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety, you'll be an important part of delivering the quality our guests expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the kitchen team with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under supervision.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented to Kisa's standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
- Wash and store kitchen equipment, utensils and crockery safely.
- Restock ingredients and supplies to support efficient service.
- Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Assist with the smooth running of busy services across breakfast, lunch and evening dining.
- Support the wider team wherever required to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, reliable and enjoy working as part of a team.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous experience within a restaurant, catering or kitchen environment (preferred but not essential).
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
