Handyman / DriverJob Overview
Call of Fix Ltd is looking for a reliable, hardworking and skilled Handyman / Driver to join our growing team in London.
This is a hands-on role combining property maintenance with driving responsibilities. You will travel to customer sites across London, transport tools and materials, and assist with a wide range of maintenance and repair work.
The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a good knowledge of London roads, and experience in general property maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the company van safely to customer properties across London.
- Have good knowledge of London roads and confidently use GPS and navigation systems.
- Load, unload and transport tools, materials and equipment safely.
- Carry out general handyman tasks including:
- Painting & Decorating
- Basic Plumbing
- Basic Electrical Repairs
- Carpentry
- Furniture Assembly
- TV Mounting
- Curtain & Blind Installation
- Shelving Installation
- Silicone & Sealing
- Flooring & Laminate Fitting
- General Property Repairs
- Support other engineers on larger projects when required.
- Keep company vehicles, tools and equipment clean and organised.
- Follow all company Health & Safety procedures.
- Maintain a professional and friendly attitude with customers.
- Report any vehicle, equipment or site issues to the office promptly.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good knowledge of London roads and traffic.
- Confident using satellite navigation.
- Previous experience in handyman, maintenance or property repairs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry tools and materials.
- Good spoken English and communication skills.
- Punctual, reliable and well organised.
- Right to work in the UK.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in painting and decorating.
- Basic plumbing knowledge.
- Basic electrical experience.
- Carpentry and woodworking skills.
- Experience fitting kitchens, wardrobes or furniture.
- Experience using power tools.
- Customer service experience.
