The Oir Group are looking for Kitchen Porters to support our team at Uncle Tiger, Bristo Place.
Rate of pay £12.71 ph Plus Tronc.
Duties
Assist with food preparation and cooking under supervision, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety regulations
Help with the storage of ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper labelling and stock rotation
Serve meals to guests or customers in a courteous and professional manner
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
Support the team during busy periods by performing additional tasks such as dishwashing or replenishing supplies
Experience
Previous experience in a catering, restaurant, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Familiarity with food preparation, meal assembly, and basic cooking techniques is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is preferred
Experience in serving or front-of-house roles can be beneficial but is not mandatory
A genuine interest in culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills are highly valued
