We are looking for HGV CE drivers to immediately start work at GIST in Thatcham. All year round this site is extremely busy with a wide range of start times available across 7 days each week and offers a lucrative overtime rate for any work over 8 hours on each day.
Given the nature of the role, no two days are the same! If you are a Class 1 HGV driver with at least 1 year of commercial driving experience, do not hesitate to contact us.
As well as plenty of adhoc work, we are also offering a guaranteed Summer Rota which will run from 19th July to 5th September:
AM Rota
Sunday to Thursday or Thursday to Monday
PM Rota
Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday

Pay Rates
· Days from £24.37
· Nights from £29.26
· Weekends up to £31.68
· Overtime (applies after 8 hours on each shift) £26.81 - £36.56
Shift information
· Typical start times: 00:01 – 05:00 and 12:00 – 18:00
· Average shift length 8 – 10 hours
· Full two day training following successful assessment
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months of recent HGV driving experience required
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
