Part-Time Land Survey Assistant

Scope Surveys is looking for a reliable Land Survey Assistant to support our surveyors on site as required. The position will initially offer flexible hours according to project workload, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right person.
This opportunity would particularly suit an undergraduate studying surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, construction or a related subject who would like to gain practical industry experience alongside their studies. Previous surveying experience is not required, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with topographical and measured building surveys
- Helping set up total stations, laser scanners and other equipment
- Placing survey targets and recording site information
- Organising and safely transporting equipment
- Supporting surveyors with general site activities
- Following instructions and site safety procedures
The successful candidate should be reliable, punctual, willing to learn and available for occasional early starts. They must be able to travel to sites across London and the South-East.
A full UK driving licence would be beneficial but is not essential.
