Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail oriented Ecommerce Assistant to join our team. The website is a major focus for Julian Charles Home, and you will join a dynamic ecommerce team to support the day to day running of the website and marketing channels, alongside supporting customer service. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in digital marketing and ecommerce. The ideal applicant will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for digital commerce.
Responsibilities
- Support the customer service team by responding to inbound customer queries.
- Support with listing new products on our website and writing product content.
- Monitor and moderate reviews on Trustpilot.
- Monitor social media channels for customer comments and queries.
- Schedule posts on our social media channels which include Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Tiktok.
- Provide support with influencer marketing campaigns.
- Provide support for the email marketing channel.
- Write effective and engaging copy for use on marketing channels and the website.
- Support the team as we move into new online marketplaces such as Amazon.
- Adapt campaign creative into marketing assets for marketing channels using Photoshop.
- Provide admin support to the ecommerce team.
Experience
Essential:
- A strong interest in learning about ecommerce and/or digital marketing.
- An interest in social media marketing.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Highly organised with ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Experience dealing with customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Thorough and focussed with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to take ownership of your own workload.
- Happy to ‘get stuck in’ to support all areas of ecommerce.
- Work with confidence and passion to provide excellent customer service.
- Able to create and maintain relationships with colleagues and other departments.
Desirable:
- Previous administrative experience.
- Experience using design software (E.g. Photoshop).
- Experience creating content for social media platforms.
