Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Floor Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating food production and service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, serving, and presentation to uphold high-quality standards.
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks efficiently, and monitor performance to foster a motivated team environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all areas.
- Assist in training new team members on service procedures, safety protocols, and culinary standards.
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints promptly to guarantee excellent guest experiences.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of ingredients and supplies.
- Monitor operational costs and optimise resource utilisation without compromising quality.
- Support promotional activities and contribute ideas for menu development or special events.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting, ideally with supervising responsibilities.
- Extensive background in food production, cooking, serving, and food preparation.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive working environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in a culinary environment.
- Experience in hospitality management or restaurant operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Previous barista experience is advantageous but not essential.
- A professional attitude combined with excellent communication skills.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
