Job Title: Contracts Manager
Location: Reading and surrounding areas
Pyramid Recruitment are looking for a contracts manager with refurbishment/painting/void works experience for a contract in Reading and surrounding areas
Core Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead void refurbishment programs from start to finish, ensuring properties are returned to a lettable standard on time and within budget.
- Contractor Management: Manage and oversee subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring they consistently deliver high-quality work and meet contractual obligations.
- Budget Control: Oversee material procurement and control costs effectively, ensuring value for money is achieved at all times.
- Team Management: Lead and manage site teams, ensuring productivity, performance targets, and high-quality standards are met.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong, clear communication with clients, internal teams, contractors, and residents to ensure a smooth and effective service.
- Quality Assurance: Implement processes to ensure properties are well-cared-for, safe, and meet required housing and quality standards, fostering resident pride.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience: Proven experience in managing voids, property repairs, and maintenance, ideally within the social housing sector.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of repair and maintenance processes and technical expertise to guide problem-solving.
- Budget Management: Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Communication: Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues, implement continuous improvement, and manage complaints effectively.
