We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and caring After School Club Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to contribute to a supportive and engaging school environment.
Working alongside the After School Care Manager, you will help deliver a safe, caring and stimulating after-school provision. You will support children’s wellbeing and development through structured activities and positive engagement, while ensuring a high standard of care at all times.
Hours:
Monday – Thursday
3.30pm - 6.00pm
Friday
3.30pm – 5.00pm
Term Time Only
Key Responsibilities

Supervise children during after-school sessions
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment
- Support children’s physical, emotional and social development
- Act as a positive role model at all times
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies
- Communicate effectively with staff, parents and carers
We are looking for someone who is:

- Creative, flexible and able to use initiative
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
Requirements

GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 or above)
Previous experience or childcare qualifications are desirable but not essential.
