We are looking for an enthusiastic, well organised and motivated Stores Manager to join our Soil Laboratory team based in Hexthorpe, Doncaster.
Experience within a stores/warehouse setting is essential.
Duties include:
- Manage a team of stores operatives and delegate tasks accordingly.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products safely within the warehouse.
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to track projects and ensure accurate logging.
- Load and unload samples, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Adhere to safety guidelines while performing heavy lifting and other physical tasks.
- Data entry on Microsoft excel
- People Management skills essential.
