Ecommerce & Customer Experience Coordinator – Part-Time

Location: Weston, Hertfordshire (SG4 7DP) – in person
Hours: 3 days per week – Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10am–5pm
Additional hours: There may be the opportunity to add a fourth day as the role develops
Pay: £14.00 per hour, with potential to increase based on experience and performance

We are now looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and practical person to join our small team and become an important part of the day-to-day running of the business.
About the Role
Are you organised, digitally confident and someone who likes getting stuck in?
This is a varied, hands-on role combining ecommerce, customer service, administration, stock management and order fulfilment.
No two days are quite the same. One day you might be helping customers, updating products on our website and processing online orders. The next, you could be checking stock, organising deliveries, preparing parcels or helping solve whatever needs attention that day.
This isn't a desk-only role. You'll move between computer work, helping customers in our boutique, organising stock and preparing orders.
You will work closely with the business owners and, because we are a small team, you'll get to see how the whole business works. Your contribution will genuinely matter.
You don't need years of ecommerce experience. For us, attitude, reliability, attention to detail, digital confidence and a willingness to learn are just as important.
Main Responsibilities
- Processing and carefully packing online orders
- Responding to customer emails and enquiries
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service in our boutique
- Updating products, images, prices and information on our ecommerce platforms
- Helping with website merchandising and online promotions
- Managing and organising general office administration
- Processing invoices and maintaining accurate records
- Monitoring stock levels and helping to keep stock records accurate
- Ordering supplies and coordinating deliveries
- Helping organise incoming stock and collections
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the business
- Helping wherever needed within a busy small business
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Is organised, reliable and responsible
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is confident using computers and online systems
- Is comfortable learning new software and digital tools
- Can work independently and use their own initiative
- Enjoys helping customers and providing excellent service
- Is practical and happy to get involved with different tasks
- Has a positive attitude and is keen to learn
- Has excellent written and spoken English
- Is comfortable working as part of a small team
- Has a full clean driving licence
Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce would be an advantage, but it is not essential. A willingness to learn and a genuine interest in ecommerce and retail are equally important.
