We’re looking for a reliable, multi-skilled builder to join our growing team. The role will involve a mixture of refurbishment and maintenance work across a verity of rental properties.
Typical work includes bathroom and kitchen fitting, flooring, painting and decorating, joinery, plastering and plumbing. We don’t expect one person to be a master of everything, but you should be confident in several of these areas. We’re happy to shape the role around the skills you already have and help you build on others over time.
Our company specialises in high-quality refurbishments for the landlord market, with a focus on efficient turnarounds without compromising standards. We expect good workmanship and attention to detail, but we also believe in maintaining a positive and relaxed working environment. You’ll be supported by a network of subcontractors and experienced colleagues when needed.
The role will also include maintenance work and aftercare within tenanted properties. Because of this, the right person must be polite, respectful and comfortable working in furnished, lived-in homes. Being able to work cleanly, keep disruption to a minimum, and communicate well with tenants is important.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in several of the following: bathroom fitting, kitchen fitting, flooring, decorating, joinery, plastering or plumbing
- A good standard of workmanship and pride in your work
- Ability to work independently and manage jobs on site
- Professional and friendly when dealing with tenants and clients
- Someone who works tidy and respects people’s homes
- Someone who can drive and owns a vehicle
