Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Organic Lifestyle and Deli Barista to join our friendly team on a flexi part time basis. While barista experience is essential, we will provide full training to ensure you excel in delivering high-quality coffee and beverages. This is an excellent opportunity to join a family business and work in a vibrant, customer-focused environment where you can share your passion for healthy living and organic food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in the shop and deli, providing outstanding service and product knowledge
- Prepare and serve takeaway coffee and other beverages with care, following barista techniques (barista experience is essential, with further training provided)
- Assist with daily stock management, including unpacking, labelling, and organizing products
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the deli and shop areas
- Help with preparing and serving food in the deli section
- Support the team with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling
- Assist with customer inquiries, providing information on various retail lifestyle products
- Ensure a positive and friendly atmosphere in the shop and deli at all times
Key Skills and Qualities:
- A positive attitude, with enthusiasm for organic food, coffee, and healthy living
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Punctual, reliable, and flexible with working hours
- Barista experience is essential, but full training will be provided to refine your skills
- Interest in organic products, wholefoods, and health is desirable
Hours:
- Flexi part time role
- Weekend availability is required(rotational shifts, including Saturdays)
- Ability to cover holidays and shifts as needed
