The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists and other professionals to support pupil development.
- Develop and implement individual learning strategies to help pupils achieve their full potential.
- Monitor progress, assess learning and adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of additional needs.
What Excell Supply Is Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, PGCE or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification).
- Experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) or Complex Needs is desirable.
- A patient, empathetic and adaptable approach to teaching.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- The right to work in the UK.

Pay: £140.00-£200.00 per day
Work Location: In person
