Job Summary
As a Assistant manager at HYGGE, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations and management of the venue. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily activities, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and assisting the General manager in achieving business objectives.
Duties
- Manage and lead a team of staff members, providing guidance and support where necessary
- Assist in food preparation and service, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills to motivate the team and drive performance
- Support bartending activities during peak times or as required
- Collaborate with the operations team to implement strategies for business growth and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised working environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector, ideally in a hotel or restaurant setting
- Proficiency in team management and demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to assist with food preparation when needed
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers
