Position Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist. This is an exciting role, where you will work closely with our Purina Team within Nestle UK & Ireland & Zone Europe. Providing regulatory expertise and sound judgement, based on professional knowledge and experience of food regulations. Ensuring that our products meet the national nutritional guidelines, relevant regulations, and food safety requirements. You will work with relevant markets ensuring regulatory compliance of labelling and any kind of product communication is managed.
Your Impact
You’ll play a pivotal role in bringing our products to the market and supporting the marketing teams on exciting product launches. Ensuring all our products are complaint against our UK&I regulations. You’ll strive to deliver towards Nestlé's overall progress.
you will provide regulatory expertise and sound judgement, based on professional knowledge and experience of Pet food regulations, To work closely with commercial areas of the business in support of agreed business objectives.
Role Responsibilities:
To ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies & Assist, as required, in the achievement of the objectives of the business
- Provide a high standard of Pet food regulatory expertise to relevant departments in Nestle Purina in support of business objectives.
- Ensure that our products meet, on a continuous basis, FEDIAF & NPPE nutritional guidelines, relevant regulations and food safety requirements.
Responsible for product compliance to regulations in relevant markets.
- To take responsibility for ensuring that marketing and sales materials, and labels, comply with relevant regulations and Nestle Purina policies.
- Proactively help develop competitive marketing and sales materials and labels, drawing on relevant regulatory expertise and experience. Responsible for providing regulatory approval to projects as required.
- Represent the interests of the company at national and international trade or professional association meetings as required.
- To interact with local and national enforcement agencies and competent authorities relating to company business as required.
Ingredients for Success
To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record in food and beverage products regulatory experience, you’ll be self-sufficient and results focused with great analytical skills.
