About TMS
TMS Electrical Contractors is an established, NICEIC-approved electrical contractor delivering quality installations across the commercial, industrial, domestic and public sectors. We're a tight, experienced team that takes pride in doing things properly - and we're looking for a skilled Electrician to join us.
The Role
No two weeks look the same here. One day you could be on a major commercial site, the next on an industrial installation, and the next handling domestic works or a jobbing call-out. If you're the kind of electrician who'd rather have genuine variety than do the same thing on repeat, this is the role for you.
You'll get to use the full breadth of your skills, keep your hands in across every type of work, and never get bored. We'll also back you to build your experience and qualifications further as you go.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and repair works to a high standard
- Work across a varied mix of works
- Complete inspection and testing in line with BS 7671
- Produce accurate certification and documentation
- Work safely and tidily, maintaining high standards on every job
- Work independently, as well as in a team.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Recognised electrical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent)
- ECS Gold Card
- Proven hands-on experience across a range of electrical works
- Strong understanding of BS 7671 and current wiring regulations
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience across commercial, industrial and domestic settings
- Experience working within the public sector and on framework projects
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) – Training available for the right candidate
