Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, HCPC Registered, skilled and compassionate Podiatrist to join our small team.
As a Podiatrist, you will diagnose and treat foot and ankle conditions, provide preventive care, and educate patients on proper foot care techniques.
Your expertise will help improve the quality of life for individuals experiencing foot-related issues.
Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and ankles - Diagnose and treat various foot and ankle conditions, including fractures, sprains, bunions, ingrown toenails, and infections
Perform surgical procedures when necessary
Prescribe medications and recommend orthotic devices or physical therapy as part of treatment plans
Educate patients on proper foot care techniques and preventive measures
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Experience: - Proven experience as a Podiatrist or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of foot anatomy, conditions, and treatment options
Proficient in using IT systems for medical record keeping
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
