Duties
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are readily available.
- Provide excellent patient care by preparing patients for treatment, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently using IT systems.
- Ensure that all dental equipment is sterilised and maintained according to health and safety regulations.
- Support the dental team in administrative tasks, including managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the dental practice to promote a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications.
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Familiarity with IT systems related to dental practice management is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members.
