Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently during busy periods. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer valuable experience within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and food to customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using the bar POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using basic maths skills
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest queries and requests promptly
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables or bar areas as required
- Adhere to health and safety standards at all times, including responsible alcohol service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Strong serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service delivery
- A positive attitude with a genuine interest in delivering exceptional customer experiences
