We are a well-established specialist contracting company based in West Thurrock, Essex, providing waterproofing, concrete repair and structural maintenance services to the construction industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and reliable individual looking to build a long-term career within a specialist construction trade.
Full training will be provided, and for the right candidate we will support you in achieving a Level 2 NVQ in Waterproofing or Concrete Repairs, giving you the opportunity to progress within the business.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general labouring duties as required.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
- Assist experienced operatives with specialist works.
- Safely use hand and power tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Essential Requirements
Ideally, applicants will have:
- Previous experience in a labour-intensive or construction-related role (preferred but not essential)
- A full UK driving licence (Manual)
- A valid CSCS card
- A good understanding of site health and safety
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
The role is physically demanding and requires a good level of fitness.
Flexibility is essential, as working hours may vary depending on project requirements. The role may include occasional weekend working and working away from home. Where working away is required, accommodation and travel expenses will be provided.
The majority of our work is carried out outdoors, so applicants should be prepared to work in all weather conditions.
Self-employed and PAYE positions are available.
Pay: £100.00-£120.00 per day
