Our client, a subcontractor who deliver high quality services to clients in the social housing and local authority sector are seeking an electrician to join their team on an ongoing basis.
Will involve working in domestic properties mainly in the Cambridge area.
Working hours are 08.00 – 17.00 Monday to Friday
Long- term ongoing work.
Price Work with earning potential of £250-£350 per day.
Company van and fuel card provided.
The role: Electrician
Working in void and occupied domestic properties mainly in and around the Cambridge area on a planned Kitchens and Bathrooms maintenance programme. This will be carrying out housing rewires and maintenance while offering a high standard of customer service.
Role requirements -
In order to be considered for the role you must have proven experience as a fully qualified domestic electrician.
- Qualified to Level 3 City and Guilds
- 18th edition
- 2391 test and inspection qualification (or equivalent) preferred but not essential
- Asbestos Awareness & Manual Handling Certificates (we can provide access to free
online courses)
- Have own tools and transport - Preferably have experience of working in social housing or tenanted properties.
- Full driving licence
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for electrical work.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
