We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our reception team. We are a mixed NHS and private dental practice located on the main Aylestone Road near Leicester city centre.
Personal Specifications
* You must be an enthusiastic and committed individual who can work using their own initiative.
* You must have at least one year experience as a receptionist and have excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
* You must be well presented and have excellent communication skills both with the public and fellow employees.
* Administration experience is preferred however training will be given.
* You must be an ambitious individual who is eager to learn and develop skills.
* You must be competent and confident using computers and have experience of using MS office.
* You must be a reliable individual with a willingness to progress.
Responsibilities
* Greeting patients
* Answering phone calls and dealing with patient enquiries effectively
* Scheduling appointments using our computer booking system
* Handling payments from patients/cashing up/keeping accounts
* General office administration- filing, processing new patients, processing referrals.
* Maintain a professional and efficient reception area
This is a full time, permanent position. The successful candidate will be given full initial training and will benefit from on-going support and training courses.
