We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Panel Beater to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in repairing and restoring vehicle bodywork to its original condition. As a Panel Beater, you will work with various tools and equipment to ensure high-quality finishes while adhering to safety standards. A painter who is efficient in painting vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Assess damaged vehicles and determine the necessary repairs.
- Utilise power tools and hand tools to remove dents, scratches, and other imperfections.
- Weld and assemble parts as required for vehicle restoration.
- Maintain equipment in good working order, performing repairs as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle structures and components.
- Lift heavy materials and components safely during the repair process.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle repairs.
- Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard within set timeframes.
Skills
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for bodywork repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Experience in equipment repair, ensuring all tools are maintained properly.
- Capability for heavy lifting, as the role involves handling substantial components.
