Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable F-Gas Tutor to lead training sessions and assess competency in F-Gas Categories I&II. This role is vital in ensuring industry professionals are fully compliant with environmental regulations and possess the necessary skills to operate refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump systems responsibly. As an F-Gas Tutor, you will inspire confidence through clear instruction, foster understanding of complex technical concepts, and promote best practices across the sector. Your energetic approach will motivate learners to excel while maintaining high safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging training sessions on F-Gas regulations, safety procedures, and technical handling techniques
- Assess candidates’ knowledge and practical skills through examinations, demonstrations, and ongoing evaluations
- Develop comprehensive training materials, including manuals, presentations, and practical exercises
- Stay current with evolving environmental legislation and industry standards related to F-Gases
- Provide guidance on compliance requirements for refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump systems involving F-Gases
- Support learners by offering constructive feedback and tailored coaching to enhance their understanding and performance
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, assessments, and certifications awarded
Skills
- Level 3 Category I qualification in F-Gas, with a minimum of 15 years on-site experience in HVAC
- Assessors Qualification
- Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective teaching and assessment
- Proven teaching or training experience with the ability to simplify complex technical information for diverse audiences
- Excellent organizational skills to plan training schedules, manage documentation, and track learner progress
- Good IT skills for creating digital training content, managing records, and utilizing online learning platforms
- Exceptional communication skills to engage learners actively and foster a positive learning environment
