Annual equivalent: £27,256–£36,342, depending on hours worked

We’re looking for a confident, people-focused Deputy Manager to join our welcoming residential service at Nant Leiros in Neath.
You’ll work alongside the Service Manager to lead a dedicated team and make sure the people we support receive the high-quality, person-centred care they deserve.

About Nant Leiros
Nant Leiros is a warm residential service supporting up to seven men with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours that may challenge.
It’s a genuine home-from-home, with comfortable communal spaces, a supportive team and strong links with the local community.
What will you be doing?
You’ll be a hands-on leader, working alongside the Service Manager to keep the service running safely, smoothly and effectively.
You’ll:
- Lead, motivate and support the staff team.
- Support care planning, risk assessments and positive support.
- Run inductions, supervisions and team meetings.
- Help manage rotas and maintain safe staffing levels.
- Support investigations and performance management.
- Champion training, quality and CIW compliance.
- Be a positive role model for both colleagues and the people we support.
Could this be you?
You’ll ideally have experience as a Deputy Manager, Team Leader or strong Senior Support Worker, preferably within learning disabilities or mental health.
You’ll also bring:
- Experience supervising or managing a team within Adult Social Care.
- QCF Level 3, or be working towards it.
- A willingness to progress towards Level 5 Leadership & Management.
- A calm, organised and reliable approach.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead by example.
- Most importantly, warmth, compassion and a genuine passion for great care.
