About the Role
BoxOn Logistics Ltd is looking for an experienced and driven On-Site Manager to represent our business at one of our key client's delivery sites.
This is a highly visible, client-facing position where you will act as the main point of contact between BoxOn Logistics Ltd, our delivery drivers and the client’s on-site operational team.
You will take ownership of our day-to-day last-mile delivery operation on site, ensuring our drivers are prepared, supported and performing to the standards expected by both BoxOn Logistics Ltd and our client.
Performance Incentive
Our On-Site Managers can earn an additional:
⭐ £250 per week for achieving the required performance targets
⭐ £350 per week for achieving the higher performance targets
The incentive scheme rewards strong operational performance, including the successful management of drivers, service standards, compliance and achievement of key performance targets.
Previous Last Mile Delivery experience is essential.
Your Responsibilities
As On-Site Manager, you will:
- Represent BoxOn Logistics Ltd professionally on the client’s site
- Manage, support and motivate our delivery drivers
- Oversee daily driver dispatch and delivery operations
- Act as the main point of contact for the client’s on-site management team
- Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the client
- Monitor driver attendance, reliability and performance
- Monitor operational KPIs and ensure service targets are achieved
- Ensure drivers and operations meet required compliance and safety standards
- Respond quickly to operational issues and delivery challenges
- Communicate performance updates and concerns to senior management
- Identify areas where operational performance can be improved
- Maintain high standards of professionalism at all times
- Take ownership of the operation and lead from the front
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who understands the pace and demands of Last Mile Delivery and is comfortable being the face of our company on a major client's site.
The successful candidate will:
✓ Have proven Last Mile Delivery experience
✓ Have experience managing delivery drivers and daily operations
✓ Be confident working directly with client management teams
✓ Have strong leadership and people-management skills
✓ Understand delivery KPIs, performance and compliance
✓ Be highly organised and able to prioritise in a fast-moving environment
✓ Remain calm and make good decisions under pressure
✓ Be proactive and solutions-focused
✓ Have excellent communication skills
✓ Take ownership and responsibility for operational performance
Working Hours
This is a full-time, site-based position working 5/6 days per week.
Due to the nature of Last Mile Delivery, flexibility will be required around operational demands, including key dispatch and delivery periods. Some weekend working may also be required depending on the operational schedule.
