We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Trade Plate Logistics Planner within our fast paced vibrant team.
We are a long-established provider of motor delivery services, via trade plate drivers, to some of the most prestigious brands in the automotive industry. We provide the highest levels of service to some of the most recognisable retail motor dealers and leasing companies in the UK, ensuring the onward delivery of new and used cars to their customers is faultless and memorable for all the right reasons.
Who we are looking for:
- Transport Planning experience is essential
- As the successful candidate you will be able to work on your own initiative and within a team, with the willingness to resolve complex vehicle movement logistic issues
- You will be a genuine team player working with both our Planning and Administration team to deliver the best possible results for both our customers & our business
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
- You should be computer literate
- UK geographic knowledge is essential
The role:
- The Ideal candidate must have a keen eye for detail and be meticulous with the inputting and monitoring of essential digital data
- Provide drivers with well thought out collection and delivery routes ensuring they are able to get to and from each location
- You will be the first point of contact for our drivers and administrators available by phone and email to answer any queries on a broad range of subjects
- Update and maintain our customer database, managing key information where required
- Be quick thinking and able to resolve problems efficiently.
