Job Overview
Lee Kum Kee Europe is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Digital & Ecommerce Executive to lead our online presence and digital marketing initiatives.
The Senior Digital & Ecommerce Executive owns the day-to-day trading and growth of Lee Kum Kee Europe’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) and marketplace ecommerce across the Europe Zone. This is a commercial, hands-on role: the primary measure of success is the performance of our online store, its revenue, conversion and repeat purchase, and the quality of the trading calendar that drives it.
The role sits within the Digital team and reports to the Digital Marketing Manager. While ecommerce is the core, the Senior Digital & Ecommerce Executive also provides dependable support across CRM, social, influencer and paid media, acting as a flexible extension of the Digital Marketing Manager on the team’s wider priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Ecommerce & D2C Growth (core focus)
- Own the day-to-day trading of LKK Europe’s D2C storefront(s) (Shopify) and marketplace listings, accountable for online revenue, conversion rate and repeat purchase across the Europe Zone.
- Build, own and continuously optimise the ecommerce trading and promotional calendar, aligning D2C and marketplace activity with wider brand and retail campaigns.
- Manage product listings, pricing, promotions, on-site merchandising and content, working with cross-functional teams on stock availability and range.
- Monitor, interrogate and act on the commercial KPIs, conversion rate, average order value, customer lifetime value, repeat purchase rate and traffic, translating data into concrete actions that grow revenue.
- Own CRM and email execution end to end: campaign builds, segmentation, scheduling, QA and post-send performance, using it as a lever for retention and repeat purchase.
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for ecommerce agencies and platform partners on site updates, technical fixes and troubleshooting.
- Deliver retail media and marketplace advertising activity under the Digital Marketing Manager’s strategic direction, with an eye on return on spend.
Digital, Social & Influencer Support
- Support execution of the always-on social content calendar across brand channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube), including community management and query escalation.
- Support day-to-day administration of the influencer programme, briefing coordination, content tracking and performance reporting, and assist with identification and outreach across key markets.
- Assist the Digital Marketing Manager with paid media trafficking, creative briefing and agency reporting across paid social and paid search.
- Maintain digital performance dashboards and support reporting across ecommerce, social and paid channels.
- Support market-level rollout and localisation of digital campaigns across the Europe Zone.
Selection Criteria
Essential
- 3–5 years’ experience in ecommerce and/or digital marketing, ideally within FMCG, food & beverage or consumer goods.
- Demonstrable hands-on ownership of a D2C platform (Shopify or similar) with a track record of growing online sales, not just maintaining a store.
- Experience with marketplace tools (Amazon Seller/Vendor Central or equivalent).
- Commercially literate: comfortable owning KPIs and using data to drive trading decisions.
- Practical experience with CRM/email marketing platforms and working knowledge of Google suite and Meta Ads Manager.
- Strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple markets and workstreams simultaneously.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience supporting social media content calendars or influencer programme administration.
- An additional European language (German, French, Dutch or Polish).
- Given LKK’s global brand heritage, exposure to Chinese digital platforms (WeChat, Douyin, Xiaohongshu) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with retail media and marketplace advertising. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various digital channels, optimising ecommerce platforms, and driving strategic marketing campaigns. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a highly organised professional with strong management, analytical, and creative skills to contribute significantly to our growth objectives. The position is paid and requires a proactive individual capable of working independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies across multiple channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO optimisation, and PPC campaigns.
- Manage and optimise our ecommerce platforms using WordPress, ensuring seamless user experience and high conversion rates.
- Oversee social media management, creating engaging content and analysing engagement metrics to enhance brand visibility.
- Conduct regular analysis using Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other tools to monitor campaign performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on project management tasks related to digital initiatives.
- Utilise Adobe Photoshop for content creation and visual optimisation to support marketing campaigns.
- Write compelling copy for websites, product descriptions, email campaigns, and social media posts aligned with brand voice.
- Lead B2B marketing efforts by developing targeted campaigns aimed at corporate clients.
- Manage email marketing campaigns from planning through execution, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions in digital marketing efforts.
- Provide leadership within the team by mentoring junior staff and fostering a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in management roles within digital marketing or ecommerce environments.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social media management tools.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, WordPress, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and IT systems relevant to digital marketing.
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to craft engaging content tailored to target audiences.
- Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with strong analysis skills to interpret data insights effectively.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience in B2B marketing strategies and leadership capabilities are highly desirable.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on time management and organisational efficiency.
This role is ideal for a motivated professional eager to drive impactful digital strategies within a vibrant organisation committed to innovation and growth.
