Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service is the lead authority for UK National Resilience.
The MFRS National Resilience team is hiring for a product owner for the National Resilience Application.
The National Resilience Application is used by all UK Fire & Rescue Services to facilitate the strategic management and overview of nationally held resilience assets. It provides a managed information mechanism which allows key decision making to be based on accurate incident information during major national incidents.
The product owner will use agile techniques to provide system’s analysis and define user stories / requirements and design which supports the development of the application. They will also be responsible for producing documentation, and demonstrating new application features, as well as gathering feedback from users.
Applicants should have experience of using the agile methodology of project management, strong interpersonal skills, good written and oral communication skills, and be able to prioritise features and user stories. They should also have a strong understanding of the data dependencies inherent in having an integrated system.
