Pay: £14.45 per hour
Thomas Knight Care Home is looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and provide nutritious, home-cooked meals that enhance the wellbeing of our residents.
As part of the Distinguished Care Group, you'll lead the day-to-day running of the kitchen, create varied menus, manage stock and budgets, maintain the highest food hygiene standards, and support a small catering team to deliver an excellent dining experience every day.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef
- Professional Cookery qualification (desirable)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety
- A passion for producing nutritious, high-quality meals
- Care home or healthcare catering experience is desirable.
