Key Responsibilities
· Supervise cleaning operatives across assigned mobile and multi-site contracts.
· Carry out regular site visits, cleaning audits, quality checks and standards inspections.
· Ensure cleaning tasks are completed to agreed specifications, schedules and client expectations.
· Carry out or supervise low-level internal and external window cleaning where required, using appropriate equipment and safe working methods.
· Provide cleaning cover where required for sickness, holidays, vacancies or operational emergencies.
· Manage staff rotas, attendance records, holiday cover and timesheet information where applicable.
· Support the recruitment, induction, training and mentoring of cleaning operatives.
· Monitor stock levels, cleaning materials, equipment and PPE, placing orders or reporting shortages as required.
· Ensure all staff follow site rules, company procedures, uniform standards and security requirements.
· Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts, managers and cleaning teams to resolve issues promptly.

· Promote correct use of COSHH information, cleaning chemicals, equipment and PPE.
· Ensure low-level window cleaning is completed safely, including correct use of equipment, signage, access controls and suitable cleaning products.
· Deliver or support toolbox talks, safety briefings and site-specific training.
· Report hazards, incidents, equipment faults and maintenance concerns promptly.

Person SpecificationEssential
· Previous commercial cleaning experience.
· Experience supervising, leading or supporting cleaning staff.
· Full UK driving licence, with the ability to travel between sites.
· Good understanding of cleaning standards, safe working practices and COSHH requirements.
· Knowledge of safe low-level window cleaning methods and suitable equipment.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks across multiple sites.
