40 hours per week working Mon - Fri but also supporting on weekends.

Job Description
As a Dementia Care Manager to lead our dementia community and help shape outstanding, person-centred care for residents living with dementia. You’ll work closely with the Deputy and Home Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our dementia community.
This is more than a management role. We’re looking for someone who can be a visible leader, mentor and advocate for exceptional dementia care. Someone who understands that great care isn’t just about routines and processes, it’s about knowing the person behind the care plan.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead and inspire the care team, creating a positive, supportive culture
- Champion best practice in dementia care across the home
- Ensure residents receive personalised, dignified and meaningful care
- Develop and review person-centred care plans and risk assessments
- Support families throughout their loved one’s dementia journey
- Coach and mentor the team in understanding dementia-related behaviours
- Maintain high clinical and operational standards in line with CQC requirements
- Manage rotas, supervisions, training and day-to-day team coordination
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and families
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Flexible in approach.
- Highly motivated.
- Strong experience in dementia care (essential)
- Previous leadership or management experience in residential care
- Previous leadership or management experience in residential care
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
