Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electronic Equipment Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of electronic systems and equipment. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electronic equipment.
- Diagnose faults using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Repair and replace faulty components, including circuit boards, connectors, PCB's and other hardware elements.
- Utilise hand tools effectively to perform precise repairs and adjustments.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new electronic systems and hardware.
- Perform computer hardware repairs, upgrades, and system configurations.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues related to computer networking equipment.
- Document repair procedures, maintenance activities, and system configurations accurately.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to electronic equipment maintenance.
- Proficiency with hand tools used in electronic repair tasks.
- Experience with computer hardware components and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and manuals.
- Knowledge of computer repair processes including troubleshooting hardware issues.
- Understanding of maintenance procedures for electronic systems.
- Familiarity with computer networking principles and equipment setup.
- Proven ability to repair various types of electronic equipment efficiently.
