An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Breakfast Host to join our Manchester Hotel!
The Ainscow in Salford, Manchester, boasts 85 rooms, spacious Reception and Dining areas with a large car park. Located in Manchester’s most popular destinations, with Spinningfields and Deansgate right on our doorstep.
Main Duties:
· Take control of breakfast food service.
· Setup and clean down the kitchen and breakfast room after breakfast.
· Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic at all times.
· Ensure all stocks are kept under optimum conditions.
· Monitor and ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times
· Prepare hot/cold food items for our comprehensive breakfast buffet as well as preparing and cooking hot food items to order
· Contribute to controlling costs, improving gross profit margins, and other departmental and financial targets
· To have a flexible approach to the hours you are required to work.
· To ensure all compliance paperwork is completed in the required timeframes
· To adhere to all company and statutory health & safety requirements.
· To attend any relevant meetings or training courses as requested.

· To ensure all company equipment is correctly used and maintained.
· To participate in duty management shifts.
· To regularly make recommendations on required changes to operating procedures and systems that they feel are necessary for a better guest experience.
Skills & Experience:
· Minimum of 1 year of Hospitality Experience
· Ability to remain calm during difficult situations or in a very busy environment
· The ability to work unsupervised
· Excellent interpersonal skills, Good team working skills
· Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate
Please note this position is a zero hour on a rota basis dependant on the needs of the business.
Pay: £12.75 per hour
