The Deputy Manager role is to support the Home's Manager and staff team, there is no requirement to complete mandatory shift work or sleeps, however shift cover and sleeps are available should you wish to complete them. The Salary range starts at £33,000 to £35,000 with an annual PR Bonus of up to £2,500. There is also an annual increment each April.
40 hours a week, with flexible working over 7 days a week with the agreement of your Manager. Based at our 2 Bed Home in BD12.

Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the residential children's home.
- Support staff management, supervision, and development to maintain a motivated team.
- Ensure all care plans are accurately implemented and regularly reviewed.
- Promote a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
- Contribute to the development of new initiatives aimed at improving service quality.
- Lead by example in delivering compassionate and professional care.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing or supervising within a residential or care setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of child protection policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3/4 Residential Childrens Care or Equivalent.
- Experience working with vulnerable children or young people.
