Kitchen Assistant / Junior Chef – Experienced & Ready to Step Up
We’re looking for an experienced kitchen assistant who is ready to take on more responsibility and gradually take over the day‑to‑day running of our kitchen.
Your role will include:
- Working closely with the chef and supporting all prep and cooking
- Taking responsibility for service during busy periods
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety
- Managing stock rotation, deliveries, and general kitchen operations
- Contributing to smooth, efficient service every day
What we’re looking for:
- Previous professional kitchen experience is essential
- Someone confident, reliable, and able to work independently
- Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and safe working practices
- A calm, organised approach — especially during busy spells
- Someone who wants to grow into a more senior role
