Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Shop Assistant/Cashier to join our retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing transactions , filling stock and completing the stock delivery . The ideal candidate will be physically fit and able to lift objects weighing up to 10kg whilst spending extended periods standing , organised, communicative, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, card payments, and refunds
- Maintain a tidy and organised checkout area and shop floor
- Restock shelves and ensure merchandise is well-presented according to merchandising standards
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
Pay: £12.71 per hour
