We are looking for reliable and hard-working catering staff to join our team for an upcoming music festival in the Shrewsbury Area. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll be part of a friendly team serving food to large crowds. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
The events will be taking place between 26th and 31st of August. There will be the option to camp with us onsite if you wish or if you live locally, feel free to travel to and from site each day. On show days the shift length will be approximately 12 hours per day.
You’ll play a key role by delivering quick, efficient food service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in catering, hospitality, or events.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food in a busy festival environment
- Take customer orders and handle payments where required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas
- Washing up
- Food Prep
- Follow food hygiene and safety regulations at all time
- Work efficiently during peak periods while maintaining good customer service
Requirements
- Previous catering or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable standing for long periods and we mean long periods
- Carrying out physical tasks
