We're an independent bakery and drinks spot in the Southside of Glasgow, just off Queens Park. We're best known for our cookies - proper big, gooey, take-a-photo-of-them cookies - and we're looking for someone to take the lead on making them.
This isn't a job for a trained pastry chef looking for their next kitchen. It's for someone with real passion for baking, ideally someone who's been making cookies at home, running a small bake-and-sell side hustle, or working with a small independent bakery. If you follow other cookie makers online, know the difference between a good cookie and a great one, and want a proper platform to develop and grow your product range, this is for you.
What you'll do:
- Lead our cookie production - baking, decoration, packaging, quality control
- Bring creative ideas for new flavours and seasonal specials
- Work with us to grow the range and refine what we do
- Keep the kitchen and prep areas clean, organised and running smoothly
- Manage stock levels and supplier orders on the bakery side
- Some front of house work during quieter periods or when the team needs a hand - serving customers, taking orders, keeping the space tidy
What we're looking for:
- Genuine passion for baking, especially cookies
- Some hands-on experience - home baking, small business, cafe kitchen, market stall, whatever the story is
- Creativity - we want someone who brings ideas, not just follows recipes
- Reliable, self-motivated, happy to work independently
- An eye for detail and pride in the finished product
- Comfortable stepping out front to serve customers when needed
Nice to have but not essential:
- Own bakery or side project you can show us
- Social media presence around your baking
The role:
- Part-time, 20-30 hours per week
- Starting end of July / early August 2026
- Hourly rate to discuss with the right candidate
