We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join our team at St Johns Hall Storage in Beccles. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of all inward and outward movement of goods, safely operating forklifts and warehouse machinery.
Hours: Full Time, Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00
Rate: From £12.71 per hour (Negotiable depending on experience and additional licences)
Location: Beccles (NR34)
Key Responsibilities
- Goods Handling: Receive, inspect, check, and store all incoming goods.
- Container Devanning & Unloading: Unload, unpack, and sort goods from shipping containers safely and efficiently using manual handling best practices and forklift trucks.
- Dispatch & Picking: Pick, pack, label, and prepare outgoing shipments according to daily schedules using approved company methods.
- Stock Management: Perform stock re-working, check for damaged goods, and report any issues promptly to the Warehouse Office.
- Team Operations: Work collaboratively with the warehousing team to co-ordinate daily tasks and routines.
- Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all health, safety, and quality control policies, ensuring equipment and materials are properly operated and cared for.
