Job Summary:
As a Qualified Dental Nurse at New Street Dental Practice, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and hygienists in providing top-notch dental care to our patients. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dental surgeries, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
* Assist dentists and hygienists during procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are readily available
* Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
* Provide exceptional patient care, answering questions, and addressing concerns
* Ensure compliance with infection control and health and safety protocols
* Contribute to the overall efficiency and organization of the dental practice
Requirements:
* Qualified dental nurse with a valid General Dental Council (GDC) registration
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Basic life support training (or willingness to obtain)
Desired Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing or equivalent
* Experience working in a dental practice (not essential but desirable)
