Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Tyre Fitter to join our team. This role involves providing on-site tyre fitting services directly at customer locations, ensuring efficient and professional service. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the physical capability to handle heavy lifting. This position offers an opportunity to work independently while delivering high-quality tyre maintenance and replacement services across various locations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site tyre fitting and replacement for a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, and commercial vehicles.
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove old tyres and fit new ones safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on tyres, including balancing and inflation adjustments.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer queries professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including the proper disposal of old tyres and materials.
- Assist with minor vehicle maintenance tasks as required during service visits.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge related to tyre fitting, maintenance, or automotive repair is preferred.
- Experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers is essential.
- Familiarity with power tools used in tyre fitting or vehicle maintenance is advantageous.
- Prior experience in customer service roles is beneficial for effective communication with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, often handling tyres weighing up to 20kg or more.
- Previous experience working in mobile or on-site service environments will be considered an asset.
