Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Labourer to join our dynamic team on a Night Shift basis (16:00 - 02:30). Reporting to the Shopfloor Supervisor, the purpose of the Labourer is to act as an interface between all trades on the shopfloor and assist where the task is within their capability. The high-quality output of this operation contributes to the organisation’s success and ethos of “right first time every time”.
Responsibilities
- Aid and assist Laser Operator with loading/unloading the laser bed
- Palettize parts onto customer pallets
- Collect materials from rack using fork lift truck
- Drill, tap and countersink parts as required
- Fold repeat parts when the press brake has been set up
- Maybe required to perform a variety of other tasks as required by the business.
- Maintains a clean work area
Skills
- NVQ (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Fork lift truck trained and certified
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Good communicator at all levels

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
