TEACHING ASSISTANT 2B SEN RESPONSIBILITIES WITH OPTIONAL ADDITONAL HOURS FOR WELFARE AND CARE CLUB
We are seeking to appoint a passionate, nurturing and experienced teaching assistant to join our happy and dynamic staff team. The role involves providing support for pupils with additional needs, specifically ASD and SEMH, in Year 1. Clayton-le-Woods Church of England Primary School is one-form entry with 228 delightful children in our school family. We are situated in the beautiful Cuerden Valley with extensive school grounds. This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a prorata basis. Please note that this vacancy is temporary as it is subject to funding.

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent).
Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics.

- First Aid training.
Safeguarding training.

Essential Experience
- Working with children in EYFS or KS1.
Supporting pupils with SEN.

Desirable Experience
Working with children who have ASD/ communication delay/ SEMH needs
